To achieve this dream, I need to relocate to Los Angeles to train with the national team and access top-tier coaching and facilities. While USA Cycling generously covers my training, equipment, and travel costs, the living expenses in Los Angeles are substantial. I estimate needing approximately $144,000 over the next four years to cover:
Rent and Utilities: $24,000 per year
Groceries, Transportation, and Other Living Expenses: $12,000 per year
